There are different unit models for SOME units. Like the tank base units.
Add More Unit Models
When you play the game, you rather quickly realize that, not only are there a ton of units, but that they also have different levels, each of which does varying amounts of damage and defense. I feel that the game could be significantly improved if there was a different unit model for each individual level. It will make it easier to distinguish between higher and lower-level units. It's a bit nonsensical when a peashooter and an f-86 have the same unit model, a spitfire, which isn't even in the doctrine's tech tree. It would be cool to have different units for EVERY level, not just for some like in the tank tech trees. Of course, with something as advanced as this, it would take a lot of effort to make a different model for each unit, in each tech tree, in each doctrine, but I feel that it would make a significant improvement to the overall experience and feel of the game. Don't get me wrong, I understand the substantial effort needed to do something like this, but if it were possible, I'm sure most if not all of the CoW community will like this addition. It would look so cool to see in the game. It would probably be worth the effort, and it's already been done with other bytro games like CoN. Either way, I feel that this is a solid idea that the CoW game devs should at least consider. Thanks for your attention, I hope you have a great day

We would also love it, but it also has significant problems:
1) High effort and high costs to do this
2) It would significantly increase memory consumption on mobile devices (cos alot of additional images have to be loaded), which will increase crash rates alot, which has more implications.
3) It will be harder for users who dont have deep historical knowledge to see at a glance which unit model belongs to which type and level.
The current approach with having 1 new model on later levels for most units is basically a compromise.

1. This one there really isn't any way to fix
2. There can be a "medium graphics mode", which is like the game right now
3. You can still click on a unit or group of units to view everything and each of their levels.

too much effort, I think only the elite and sub elite level should have it with a same model for both.
i would like the aesthetic benefits of Knowing what units are of what units by the corresponding unit model, but dont want the burden of Memory and crashes

Is a good idea, i hate playing with a Comintern country and having a Yakovlav as a interceptor aircraft and that has the model of a biplane of the inter-war period.
I understand that models for every single unit is very labor intensive for essentially no impact on gameplay, but Bytro could at the very least update the models that currently exist. Why have a spitfire model for the allied interceptor tree which is entirely American? Why have a spitfire for the basic American interceptor model while also having biplane models for the basic interceptors of the other countries. And that's just interceptors. I would say the models need an update of some kind
