Add new terrain the marsh or swamp

This terrain would give a great advantage to infantry units and maybe some kind of new aquatic tanks, but would hinder the movement of regular armor and transports.

the one caveat could be if you built an infrastructure it could actually change the terrain to function more like hills untill the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.

This sounds pretty good, except for the last bit.

I disagree on 4 counts.

  1. IF marshes/swamps are implemented, they should hinder troop movement for all units. More so for armor, but as well for infantry.
  2. We don't need the aquatic tank. Barely a few were used, and when used in combat, on D-Day, most of them sank like rocks.
  3. Your last paragraph would be very hard to implement, and I'd rather not have it.
  4. Before we implement marshes/swamps, which are generally quite small, we should implement jungle terrain. For all of SE Asia, which is currently just hills. Jungle terrin should work just like I described at number 1.

Ehm, there was more than just DD tanks....

Really? Where?

The LVT for the US, Japanese Type 2 Ka-Mi, the T-38 and T-40 for the USSR.

Were the 4 last used a lot?

The LVT was used a load, both in the Pacific and Europe. In fact, it crossed the Rhine, with Churchill at one point.

The Ka-Mi, it was used, but it was Japanese so I can't imagine it was too great.

The two Soviet tanks, not entirely sure.

I was talking about the last 4, so all except the LVT. I know it was used a lot. But for a unit to be implemented, all sides have had to use it, or none at all (nuke carrier).

Well, I did only say 4.

Lvl 3 Japanese Heavy Tank.

The Americans have CVN.

Lol, didn't notice.

Oh, lol

Yeah, but not in WW2.

Most of the higher level units were not from WWII.

Yeah, but this game stretches only into the early 60s, and I believe CVNs come a bit later.

It has the Kirov II, which was built in 1974 and entered service in 1980.

Yeah, that is one thing, which was implemented because they couldn't find anything else. Most of the units are WW2/early Cold War.

That doesn't matter, all the points you made about what a unit had to have to be implemented were wrong.

The point is aquatic tanks shouldn't be implemented. As you pointed out yourself, some are already in tech trees.

I never said they should be, I just pointed out that more than just Sherman DD's were used.

Ok, good for you.

I know.

I would prefer to have jungle terrain before we have marsh terrain. But overall a very good idea.
