Apart from getting your units killed intentionally -- which I hate -- you can always transfer up to 10% of your total units daily to a a friend or ally.ThankYouMr.President wrote:
Would it be a good idea to add a delete/sale(half price, or depending on condition of military unit)/retire unit option? I have recently run into the issue of not having enough resources to support my troops. I believe a delete unit/sale/ retire- would be a good idea. Thought?

I do not always have a friend to be able really trust with giving away a military unit. However, I see your point. I still believe that this idea is a good one that would be sincerely helpful.
My free advice: you should ALWAYS have at least one ally. Either a mentor who knows the game better than you, or an equal who can give mutual support, or a newbie/rookie who you can help by training.
Like Yoda said: There are always two; a master and an apprentice.
A large part of the game is PLANNING AHEAD
So you should plan for how many units your economy can support. The game is not about battles, but about conquering the world. In order to conquer the world you have to plan to feed the world, feed your armies, supply armies with oil, and have resources to replace armies lost.
Being able to "undo" an oops is not somethign that Call of War is known for. You can't retreat from a battle once committed, and you can't dismantle that battleship that you built in the great lakes.
Some days it is more accounting and budgeting than warfare and tactics.
Enjoy.

Right yet in some cases your start off with a negative per hour supply of certain resource because of the massive army you begin the game with. It is one thing if I do not plan, it is another if I have had nochoice but to begin that way.
