I believe there are many people like me that likes to play call of war but hate the fact it takes 3 hours to move ur infantrys from one province to another. I believe there would be more active players since many are just waiting for the events and then often it is a dissapointment.

Sure, but the "base" speed should go way down.
It's too easy to cross vast distances and conquer faraway lands.
This should take weeks or months, not hours 
Maybe the unit of time in the game should be weeks instead of days?
How long does it take to research a new airplane, half a day?
Try half a year. Or a year.
4-times speed mode would be really nice!

Really agree, It would be very nice to play sometimes instead of the normal call of war which is getting quite boring with the fact that it takes days to conquer land.Hurbala wrote:

LOL yeah of course you're right. I just don't like that game time is the same as war time. Things happen too fast, and it bothers me. If one game day were equal to one war month, it wouldn't bother me so much.

that's the taboo topic for old geezers in the game , God forbid to have fun and quickly games we need to wait the unregular event to show so we can play fun games ,

I feel like this has been recommended before. However, I think this should only be something that can be created by Premium and they should be limited, to a certain amount weekly (or monthly).

I could see this causing issues in terms of XP Farming, unless they made some kind of Arcade Mode, where it doesn't count towards XP or K/D Ratio.Hurbala wrote:

A lot of special events are "arcade mode". Doomsday comes to mind. Any time you start with a large army, people just go nuts and start bashing away indiscriminately

Sure, when you're off things can go from 0 to 100, but when you're on you're able to do more than a normal game.
Ultimately, though, it's not as if they're suggesting to make all games 2x speed, they're just saying that it should always be an option for those who want to play it (which is a non-insignificant amount of people).
A Euro p22 is maybe allready done in a few days... if on 6x or 8x ... just saying.
I was thinking the exact same thing. If you want faster matches, smaller maps is the way to go. You can usually have them done underneath a month without speed modifier.Hurbala wrote:

Heh, even 100p maps can be finished in 16-18 days.

It wouldn't be much of a trouble to have them as an OPTIONAL game to choose anytime, and for people that are quite often offline for several days this would be perfect as they can finish what they started.
2x is more sleeping friendly but still can last half a month.
Enabling different time speed games for this year as constant option would be best gift Bytro could give. Aside of gold free matches but this is rather just fantasy of mine.
