I would glad to see 3rd research slot after day 20 ingame for everyone. And 4th research slot could be paid by 10k Gold, or highcommand + 5k Gold.
But first 19 days are two slots enough. We need someone, who pay server bills.
I think that only having two research slots is becoming very annoying, especially middle of the game. I propose that additional research slots be added to your account when you level up. Say from level 1 to 25, you have two research slots, but from 51 to 75 you have three research slots and so on, or another way could be suggested. I just would really like to see some more research slots as it is becoming increasingly annoying only being able to research to things at a time.

This is pretty awkward as it would benefit the experienced players and make it even difficulter for new players to orientate. The grave of this game is so many players leaving too early, I would say it's better not to deepen it...Adelaide_Crows wrote:

This would also be an Allies nerf; it'd change the game greatly. Two research slots serve a purpose, which is limiting the use of higher levels and forcing players into choosing few unit types to invest in. This creates a variety of strategies as different units go well with each other, making choosing the right strategy important. This way it's more challenging for players to react to the situation with the right movements. There is quite a few strategic features of the game, making every game unique and creative, as even experienced players can think of new strategies to use. It just makes the game fun, change my mind.
I’ve always thought it’d be cool if you could unlock more as you level up, like maybe a third slot around level 25 and a fourth one further down the line.
But when I’m not getting stuck on stuff like this in games, I’ve been checking out sites like https://non-ukcasinos.com for a bit of downtime with slots and other casino games. It’s been a fun distraction for me.
That would favor the heavy golders too much.
A game, if it wants to be succesfull, needs a large pool of F2P-ers.
From this pool the Belugas can emerge who spent a bit on HC and Gold to fight off the good and dedicated F2P-ers.
In turn,the Belugas will inspire the P2W Blue Whales to pull their credit cards to save their ego from lack of skill and dedication.
When you favor the Whales too much, it becomes purely a P2W money trap like the multitude of Chinese copy-cat games and they never last long.
The old Evony being an exception, but at that time there were still only a few. Since then it is all the same copy-cat crap, running for a year or 2 max.
And it seems this is exactly where Bytro wants to go.
However, these crap games are flashy, simple and fast.
COW, however, is slow and complicated, because it is/was a true strategy game.
No matter how Bytro tries to simplify & dumbify COW, it will always lack the speed, the flashes and explosions and it will still be to complicated for the public they are currently aiming at.
Simply because COW requires the player to be able to add 1 & 1 together and the 12yr old phone players can't.
Hence, the dumbification downgrades will only succeed in driving away the real players, while not managing to keep the coveted crowd of dimwits with pocket money to spent.
