African Skin Format

Call of War currently has a European, North American, and Asian skin tones. It still needs AFRICAN/Middle Eastern skin tones! It doesn't really make sense putting people from that section of the world in a Caucasian/Asian skin tone! It should be a bit darker, and with different uniforms and different unit styles. Maybe even different classes for some that the Africans had around that time. If Bytro/Dorado is worried about being accused of racism, this is not racist, it is just the way the skin colors should be! Please get this accomplished. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Africa has pretty much no custom tanks/armored stuff....only Infantry/Militia could get custom skins, and that's only the skin color that will be changed....

other than that, they basically have British/French uniforms

i'd rather see an custom British/French tech tree than a African one

We should have a British tech tree that is completely separate from the American one. And this should be the first priority for new skins. The British Empire was one of the five major combatant powers in World War II: Britain, the Soviet Union, the United States, Germany and Japan.

It's rather odd that all of the other major powers have their own set of skins, but Britain shares one with the United States, and as a result, we are omitting the iconic British battledress that was worn by millions of British, Australian, Canadian, Indian, and New Zealand troops, as well as others of the Empire and Dominion countries -- more than wore the uniforms of Germany or Japan.

It's not odd at all because it started out on the 22/10 player map. And the Allies vs Axis were the only skins; being America and Germany.

Yes, sir, I understand how we got here. But if we're going to have German, Japanese, Soviet and American (mostly) skins, it stands to reason if Bytro is going to add a new set of skins (as they themselves have proposed in various player satisfaction surveys, suggestion columns, etc.), then the next skins set would be an all-British one. And I say that as an American and a student of history -- the Brits fought this war for over two years before the Americans joined it, and almost as many Brits and Empire troops served as Americans when it was over -- more than served in German or Japanese uniforms.

With all due respect to the OP who started this thread (Trumpster/Romulus), Bytro programmers' time has to be prioritized, and having African militia skins with tiny, little darkened faces should be a much lower priority.

Yeah I get ya. And Brit skins would be good for Canada, India, South Africa, Australia, the British Colonies and such. But I don't know if Unit Skins is my top hope for the game, lol.

Not mine, either, Prof, but Bytro people have raised the issue themselves periodically, too, here in the Forum and various surveys. If someone is going to spend the time to add new unit skins, let's understand what the first priority should be: British battledress and machines -- not French, Italian, Polish, Finnish, Hungarian or even Chinese. As you noted, British skins would accurately represent the Aussies, Canadians, Indians, New Zealanders, South Africans, half of black Africa and most Arab countries.
