AI countries attacking life players

The moment when AI decides to let non-player countries attack me is when I lose interest in the game. Maintaining peaceful relations is part of my strategy, not to be upset by random attacks from AI to spice up the game.

I'm generally against AI playing this game.If a player has assumed responsibility, taken over the management of the country, he must play to the end.If he quits the game, the AI should not play for him. Let the losses continue to be included in his statistics, this will reduce the number of unscrupulous players.Fighting AI is so boring and inappropriate. AI shouldn't be running countries in an online game at all.

Perhaps a severe AI morale drop when the irl players leave may be a better option. AI would obviously go defensive but perhaps the day shifts losing territory would be more effective in getting the players still in the game fighting other players over AI.

Its no fun killing bots.

In a perfect world people would actually stick withe their games and participate but we don't live there sadly.

Have I got the gambit for you... You will never go back.

BEFORE joining any coalitions, set All players and AI to Right of Way.

There are more Pros than I will probably remember:

AI may never attack you for the entire game. I'm a VERY aggressive player. AI will not attack me for over a week, and by then, you don't care about AI anyway...

AI AND random Players may even give you RoW AND Shared Map. Some players will write you just to ask why you have set them to ROW. I tell the truth...

You can always turn; OFF RoW, but once you join a Coalition, you cannot turn it; ON, so best to set it to ; ON, in the first place.

Some attacking players don't notice it is; ON, And may go for a day before noticing that their men are taking none of your territory. (MANY things which players think are Bugs, are actually Features...)

Cons:

You must regularly turn; OFF RoW, as you near AIs or Players, but the worse that can happen is that an AI will travers your territory to get somewhere, but no worries: Keep calm; and carry on...

It takes a good 6 to 8 minutes to do this at the start, but is well worth it.

Gambit 1b: Complete Control:

Offer mutual RoWs to All. You will end-up collecting a LOT of RoWs, so...

I stick, top-of-the-line Militia, in all of these Player's Cities, Hills and forests; allies and enemies alike.

Better than Air for spying; rarely seen; you will rarely feel the sting of betrayal, and can incapacitate an enemy at any time within 1/2 a Day ... Especially, if discovered - a knee-jerk reaction of turning OFF RoW with you leads to the same thing...

At night I send them roaming invisibly all over the players land, for added protection against surprise attacks.

As these players inevitably turn into AI, they start-out as your ally; giving you RoW, and may give you Shared. I HEART puppet, AI, satellite states... Have fun...!

In general; press every button and try every feature, and you will come up with your own gambits...
