Airplane Travel Distance

planes should have 2x the direction when flying from airport to airport, because that radius shows how far it can go and still return to the previous airport. and if you are going to a new one it doesn't matter

Then patrol should have an even shorter distance, and it shouldn’t be endless.

But good idea. It would probably need to be like 180% of what it is when, say attacking. Just so you have some fuel left for landing.

Uh, You do realize that even if you are going from airport to airport, you'd still have to refuel, right? Even if you did turn and around and refuel, that wouldn't increase your range x2. You'd still have the same range that you had before, and Patrols will always be endless. No reason to NOT have them endless in my opinion.

If I am going from point a I would have a range of, say 10km, so I can go 10km out and then come 10km back. If I go from point a to point b, which are 20km apart, I could because I won’t have to return on the same tank.

You are right, would be more realistic, and has been discussed many times, but it would not match the other relations in this game.

If you were to double the range for relocation purposes, even ints level 1 could already reach airports that would currently only be accessible at level 6, and for bombers even farer airports would be reachable, from which the planes then might attack in their usual range.

That on one hand saves a lot of airports (or carriers) respectively the cost of their construction and the respective time required for refueling there, and, beyond and much more serious, even planes on low levels and already in the early game might be able to reach provinces far away (on the 22p map eg beyond the Mediterranean, the Baltic or other seas, or beyond other countries) for which they should not be able to do due to their level and the general progress in the game.

All that would mean a massive intervention in the game balance (in favor of the planes) especially of early maps (it would cancel the "time-brake"), because, while everything around is still on a low level, e.g. planes at level 1 would have a mobility as level 6 planes has now.
