So lately I've been trying out the All In mode quite a bit. I'm having fun playing as small countries and seeing how well I can do with them.
However, one element of this mode has been bugging me profoundly and that is small countries' manpower production.
The manppower production rate for small countries is much too low. I know that small countries are supposed to start with small armies and not develop hordes of units from day 1, but the current state at which some countries' production is is just abysmal.
For instance, as Saudi Arabia I had a manpower production of 36 units per hour. That means I had to wait almost 2 full days to make just 1 infantry unit. That is intolerably low. I could relieve the problem somewhat if there still was the option to trade units but alas, for a reason most obscure and unsubstantiated, that option has been removed from the game.
All countries should be able to make at least 1 infantry per day at the very least. Infantry units are the "gold standard" of this game in terms of units and it's only natural that even small countries would have a normal access to them. The low resources production is fine. But the manpower one is just not enough. All countries should see their manpower production buffed to anywhere between 50 to 75 an hour at a minimum, so that they can at least make 1 infantry each day.

I think the manpower thing is realistic (except for the tiny countries which get city-like manpower production for every province like Tanna Tuva, Yemen, Oman, etc) but I agree with your point. I'm struggling to churn out even one inf a day.

I know it's realistic and meant to reflect the size of your country. It's just that for some countries it's so low that it becomes impractical for gameplay reasons rather than immersion reasons.

True that.
