Self-explanatory, if you were to use Military Sabotage on a province with a Nuclear missile stored in it (whether moving as cargo or still), there is a 20% chance that a successful Military sabotage will rig it to explode, anything within 30km of the missile when it explodes will receive the same damage and effects of a direct nuclear hit. This discourages people to hold on to Nuclear Rockets or even make them while also increasing the importance of espionage.

I'm having a difficult time thinking up of a single instance where a nuke went off anywhere in the world because of sabotage?
What realism does an event that is unprecedented in history add to the game but having a chance of occurring 20% of the time?

And I don't recall super spies instantly revealing all enemies on the map. And from where I see it. Nuclear rockets are bound to any type of sabotage. From re-adjusting navigation parameters to problems occurring at launch. You never know.

Your argument is... "Since we have one UNREALISTIC feature... we should therefore include another one...."
I just don't see it adding any realism to the game.

Let me see, Miraculously healing your army using gold, Somehow managing to produce hundreds of armies using gold, Making food out of gold, Super-workers that can make whole cities in seconds...using gold. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of unrealistic features, in the game. This may not seem realistic but it is possible, and more realistic than most other things.

It seems to be that Mr. Vamaw got a point to start a discussion or criticism of the use of gold. I happen to be one of those guys that regularly uses gold, but I see his point in perhaps limiting it (e.g. X amount of gold allowed in a 24 hr period?). Of course, that may reduce income for the game developers ...

My Point still stands....
How does ADDING unrealistic game mechanics into the game make it better? I would want to remove them.
