I tend to like having allies and being able to help them out from time to time. Militarily its pretty easy but I've noticed it's very difficult to assist when your ally is being crippled by spies. I believe adding an option to place spies as "Counter Espionage" in provinces owned by someone you have a shared map with, would be really useful in a situation like this.

this wouldn't be allowing them to control your units, simply allow you to protect a friend/ally from espionage attacks. you would still have full control over where they are and what they are doing.ATownGtr wrote:
