Can you describe this a little bit more in detail? Perhaps a screenshot or a description could describe this better.

Altered view of map? Since when?
So now, I can't see whats going on in my own provinces?
We didn't even get any news or heads up about this, nor a poll.
I work hard for my provinces.
The core atleast should ALWAYS have full visibility.

Unless your talking about when you see the buildings you build and things, similar to s1914, it's never been around. If your talking about the icons for buildings Ie.smokestack, runway, crane. Reload the page maybe? It's still in beta so be patient.
