An Often-Active Bytro staff member to answer Forum Questions & Suggestions

Agreed, actually. But with that said, we don’t want them to respond to everything - just the things that are reasonable suggestions, or things that get suggested too much (like hospitals/gold). But yeah, it would be nice. I don’t think it’d take up too much time…

Agreed. It'd be nice for official responses to threads of high interest. Appreciate that freezy does exactly this whenever he can, it's our only true method of communication with the Bytro team on the forums.

Ok but for real, props to @freezy. Designing a game, managing it, all while still taking some time out to address the lurkers on the forums all while still probably managing your life is definitely not easy. This forum is primarily for the "user community to interact. Any attention paid by staff members is pure gravy. Since 98+ percent of the suggestions and so-called bugs posted here are bogus, it is a wonder ANY staff time is spent on the forum.

Now I'm not talking about redundant, outlandish, or off-topic (and troll-y) threads about topics that have already been discussed several times. It doesn't even haev to be the same person all the time, it could be multiple people doing some of it, instead of one person doing all of it. Because if we don't have that, then forum users are going to keep wondering about their questions/suggestions and making redundant threads about them because they are not getting a response. For example, several threads have been created in the past couple weeks about a "Hospital building" that would increase the rate at which damaged units are healed. People keep bugging about it and creating new threads because no official response has been given.

In the last 3 months at least, the only Bytro dev/staff member that has been at least semi-active on the forums is @freezy. But even then, (and no offense to @freezy, they are just doing their job) probably about 4 of every 5 legitimate threads in the Suggestions subforum go unanswered by @freezy. This most likely indicates that @freezy is very busy IRL and has other things to devote their time to. So it shouldn't be @freezy that has to review all these threads. Someone else over at Bytro should do it. I think that would also help to bring an end to the craziness that has come over this forum in recent months, with people blasting out redundant threads to show their support for a "Hospital" building, or to ask what kind of Tank is the best to mass-produce statistically, or to suggest that certain provinces near the Turkey-Russia border be added to the HWW map.

ngl tho hospital building will never be added, because the units have individual ppl, idk the ratio but its probably 1 unit = 1,000 people, the units dont get healed they get restocked with new troops. Its one of those game mechanics that work behind the scenes
