if you play Luxembourg you have only one province, no capital, no resource and no army, i do said in that other thread to increase resistance on those countries.

This is just pointless. We have already discussed it.

Although an interesting idea and okay for specific RP cases, how would you include this in a competitive free for all kind of game? The starting cases would be very unbalanced and skewed hugely at game start due to both economy and military.

If this was available in a random selection game, you would get a lot of complaints and quitting because of the guy who was Luxembourg or Belgium, and simply unable to survive due to the huge handicaps.

If you would like more nations to select, just play on the 22 player map, that's a huge number of playable countries there.

That shows how popular that idea is, 100% against it.

ok maybe not Luxembourg but I said I want to be able to choose what country I wanted to be I didn't mean for it to be n the randomly picked thing

Something could be done like the world map in S1914, make a few countries that are small AI playable by giving other countries less provinces. Not Luxembourg though, they'd still be fucked.

I don't know about you, but I enjoy being steamrolled, but only if I never had a chance in the first place.

It's even better when you can smugly watch them get steamrolled afterwards.
