We also like the display in HOI4. It is not that easy to do with our path system without looking strange or cluttering the map, but it is on our backlog of ideas. Maybe in the future.

Arrows should be used instead of lines
Everytime I move a unit, it shows lines that zig zag across provinces, it looks like hell. I suggest we add them with arrows and when I mean arrows! I don't mean Conflict of nation arrows! those are bad!
I suggest they add arrows like those in HOI4, like when a unit moves down, I don't want a 90* line going down, I want a smooth military arrow looking down
