Battle locations unreported

When you get a report that province X has been taken you can click on the event and it brings you to the province.

However, when you have a force destroyed you cannot click on the event to go to where the battle was.

Also you do not get a summary of the battle for example

Armor Brigade 3 was destroyed.

You do not know if it was sunk at sea by a sub or defeated at the beach according to the event.

Yes, they should give more specific information

The event notification/ front report is only intended to be a very brief description.

For complete details you always need to read the newspaper.

Of course locations aren’t always available. This simulates the technology of the era.

With all due respect, the technology of the era was quite sufficient to know where a battle occurred and what the losses were. Even reading the newspaper doesn't give the information that it should. It can't be THAT hard to add some details to the event notification.

..never suffered from lack of information.

The herald reports all I want and need to know >> casualty-figures with army-number and, except for total losses at sea, every destroyed Army is even linked there ..

If one or more unit(s) were killed out of a still existing army / fleet it shows the number of casualties and the army number.

(column with the Flag of the affected country)

(if you dont know where this army currently is, this number can be used to find the army by using the search [Ctrl + F] >> type in country character + the number (e.g. AB17) >> "enter" = the screen jumps to the army)

When an army has been completely destroyed, in addition the name of the province where it happened will displayed, and even linked.

(column with the Flags of both combat parties)

Only the "crime scenes" on sea are not linked so far, but the sea area where the battle was is named -- maybe it will be linked sometime in the future, but a bit of elementary school geography will be adequate till then ..

Examples (underlined text in the herald is always linked):

The WH does not report all casualties. Some slip through the cracks.
