There should be an option to create a battleplan which could be saved then activated.
Designated units would remain at their respective points until activation or being ordered to move.
Moving designated units before activation of the plana would immediatley cancel it
The icon for it could be called General Staff
The newspaper would also would report the commencement of the operation , just after the declaration of war
Example: Operation Tannenbraum has begun
What do you guys think

why would it be bad claudio
You can sort of do it by having delays on unit movement.
If implemented, this would probably be a high command feature and give more power to them.
and spies could reveal plans specifically.TheZhukov wrote:

pretty cool idea
Well, I don't think the idea is bad, but it's mostly already there and the extra is not needed.TheZhukov wrote:

Battle plans are mostly already there by using the 'Delay' command by commencing it at a specific time. As at @Lord Crayfish said.
Spies can already reveal unit attack and movements coming towards your land. Military Sabotage......The Warsaw Pact wrote:

For the naming, what would be considerd a battleplan? Capture of a specific province? Country? Can there be more than 2 battle plans in 1 country? Multiple countries as a battleplan? What if two battleplans run into eachother? What if I want a surprise attack?
Well, we can move units at the specific time range and spy on others 'plans' already. And you can post in the newspaper also, right?
true
but it would make it a bit cooler right
and it would allow declaration of war at a certain time automatically
Ugh. One of the more horrible concepts in Heart of Iron.
1) This is a different game!
2) When you're copying, at least copy something that has some beauty in it.
I have nerver played HOI4
never heard of it until now
Should be a feature for all. What more do we need as payoffs: gold, booster, premium-queues are already a lot of pros.Lord Crayfish wrote:
