Infantry are transported in trucks in this game. Look at the road march speeds, and you will realize they are not foot marching!
Bicycle Infantry
So I was thinking, after you combine your infantry with Armored Cars for example, the Armored Cars move at the speed of the Infantry. So I was thinking, and I know the Japanese did this during the Siege of Singapore, they used Infantry mounted on Bicycles so they could move faster and be able to travel farther in a single day. So I was thinking maybe branching off Level 1 infantry would be Bicycle Infantry which has all the perks of regular infantry they are just quicker but not as quick as Motorized or Mechanized Infantry; doing roughly 30 or so KPH and could lead to Motorized Infantry as well, with Bicycle Infantry Level II being as strong as level II infantry.
Now speeds I was thinking that when traveling through cities, hills, forests, and plains that the top speed is 32 kph but when traveling through mountains the true real helpful nature of the Bicycle Infantry unit makes itself known capable of moving through mountains at 22 kph.
Daily up keep could be same as regular infantry. However it will be slightly more expensive than regular infantry. Its that vital middle ground between Motorized Infantry and Regular Infantry.
Please comment on the idea.

Oh; dang, make it Motorcycle Infantry then?
They are called Motorized Infantry. Look at the images on the info page of Lv 1 and so to see that.

Ah, well it was a thought. Oh well; wait Bicycle Militia?
Maybe. That might be worth a thought.

Bicycle militia does sound good.
This unit is unnecessary.

Yea and we could have snow mobile commandos in the mountains
Don't be stupid, we would give them jetpacks. How do you propose a snow mobile gets up a cliff, eh?CaponeIU wrote:

ah, see that's why the snowmobiles will have to be upgraded to add rockets on them......Quasi-duck wrote:
