I guess it is assumed that in your examples, those bridges are supposed to be blown up by the defenders when an enemy is advancing.
First time I heard the Bosporus called the "Istanbul Canal" btw, I had a small chuckle about that one!
On the games with the San Francisco bay the Golden Gate Bridge is not there connecting that to Santa Rosa. On the games with Turkey there is no bridge over the Istanbul Canal but there is several in real life. Same thing with the Panama Canal.
In Call of War units have to disembark and embark to get past rivers that have bridges in outside of the game. Can you add a function where there are bridges so units can get past some area without going in the water and the ships can still go under it?

holy cow i agree at times, freking embarking and disembarking is SUPER slow, i think bridges would be cool, again this goes into destroying buildings, maybe make bridges a building you can build, and make it so you can blow up fortifacations, infastructure, bridges, and airstrips
