Hello everyone, I have been playing this game for so long now and back in the day, we were able to trade units. I believe they removed it because it was unrealistic but trading units and equipment is very real. For the past centuries, nations have been building weapons and ships for each other for money and trade. I understand that trading soldiers are somewhat unrealistic but countries during ww2 often sent volunteers to fight for an ally and be under the allyβs control as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my suggestion.

They was a lot of cheats and exploits with unit trading, that's why they removed it. For example, two players would join a game, and one player will give their entire army to another player.
But I will make this better, so the limit of unit trade is 14 units. Plus it will be cool seeing Germans with Soviet tanks.
Also their should be a update, where you can send volunteers but you wont go to war with the enemy

Unit trading was not removed to be realistic. It was removed because players betrayed the trust given to them and chose to use it to cheat.

How did they cheat?

Youd see a lot of players giving entire armies then leaving the game once they traded. There was ways around the anti cheat by using a VPN or going to use another wifi on another device, It was extremely toxic in 1.0 . Yes id think it'd be cool to see German and Russian tanks mixed together but i wouldnt want to see the consequences again of people purposely trading whole armies again

I think there should be a limited number of units traded, if you have 11 units, you can only give 4 units or if you have 89 units, you can give 19

Couldnβt we just do it the same way as trading provinces. You can only trade units once 7 days has passed and only one a day.
