They really were not, they were in docks most of the time. Anyway, you should know that BB were obsolete at this point.Pablo22510 wrote:

They were NOT. German pocket BB's wreaked havoc in the Atlantic, and a BB's firepower is NOT to be messed with.Quasi-duck wrote:

The British had better ships.Quasi-duck wrote:
Nah, they weren't. Only two ships actually sat well in the water and all of them had very short barrel life on their guns. On top of this, the British guns had a longer range, better targeting equipment and techniques as well as much more experience. On top of all this, the Brits had better morale too.
"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius.
"Alea iacta est" Gaius Julius Caesar.
Really? Then why were more CV built than BB and all of Germany's BB sunk by planes and CV?Pablo22510 wrote:

'Cos Germany didn't know much about surface fleet tactics.Quasi-duck wrote:

What about Japanese BB? The biggest Pacific naval battle never had the ships meet or fire at each other!Pablo22510 wrote:

I don't understand...Quasi-duck wrote:

A BB's guns do not matter if they do not fire, do they?Pablo22510 wrote:

Oh, I see. But the Axis lost. We're talking about USA.Quasi-duck wrote:

The US BB did not fire their guns in the battle either. During Pacific island bombardment, DD close to shore did much better than the BB ever could or did.Pablo22510 wrote:

I think we should drop the Typhoon, put the Spitfire in 5th place and insert the glorious Gloster Meteor: as it was the first allied Fighter jet, and it works well with the German lvl 6 fighter.Pablo22510 wrote:

Why is the P-36 there anyways? It is American, not British.
I really hope this becomes a thing, it should have priority to be he next tech tree. Plus I wanna see British units!
Well, I already did half the work for them. I built the research tree! They just need to tweak it, and make the skins. Not A Communist wrote:

I'll do a combination of both. I'll drop the P-36 and put in the Golster Meteor.TankBuster wrote:

With all due respect, there's even more for improvement here. The P-36 should definitely be omitted, as should the Gloster Meteor be inserted.Pablo22510 wrote:

However, let's remember that the Meteor was the first allied fighter to become operational, and thus a contemporary of the Me 262, which is a lvl 5 fighter under the German tree. As such, I think we should include the DeHavilland Vampire. It was on the verge of operational status by the war's end, as were the P-80 Shooting Star and Heinkel He-162, both already included as lvl 6 interceptors in their respective tech trees.
I think it is reasonable to remove the Typhoon. Though designed as an interceptor, it found its niche as a close air support aircraft. Its successor, the Tempest, however, is one of the finest allied piston fighters of the war.
My proposal for a revised British interceptor tree:
| Level | Aircraft |
| 1 | Gloster Gladiator |
| 2 | Hawker Hurricane |
| 3 | Supermarine Spitfire |
| 4 | Hawker Tempest |
| 5 | Gloster Meteor |
| 6 | DeHavilland Vampire |
Best Regards Everyone! ![]()
I agree, using a similar sort of view to the German tree, and matching it plane for plane, seems better. I believe the vampire was also used for carriers, which seems to fit in better.Liberinsula wrote:

9/10 here's my only suggestion:
Get rid of the firefly, as that was a British variant of an American tank, put the comet where the firefly was, and add the centurion as the top level tank.
you are a balls
Will do what all of you said, @GreatbigHippo, @TankBuster, @Liberinsula.
Updated. I was thinking, the M7 Priest was only American-used. Any ideas for anything that could replace it?
