Bunkers?

I was looking in the research tab and I noticed stuff like the nukes and general explosives. I got to thinking that there's only the general fortifications. what about a bunker? it could protect troops from bigger explosives like the bombers, rockets, and nukes.

The fortifications would include and mainly consist of bunkers. Look at the Maginot line. More or less all bunkers.

thanks, didn't really think about it. I thought the fortifications would have been more like trenches and sand bag cover etc.

It would consist of that too but trenches are of a bygone era in this game.

no, trenches were still used by all major combatants.

I know but not for defense on a permanent emplacement as much as bunkers were.
