Call of War fuctions

What if there was a function where you could make different colored lines on the map that anyone with share map could see to make it easier to plan attacks on other countries.

Usually we just tell each other using the diplomacy tab, or look at where an ally's units are heading.

A screenshot app like Gyazo or Lightshot does what you want quite well. They can upload a screenshot and provide you with a link to share it as well.

Ah, yes. Somehow I knew Vorlon would reply to this one. LOL

BTW, what's a "fuction?" Sounds kinda naughty . . . .

They should add a surrender button on a division or regiment. Let's suppose that you have 1 massive army and it's surrounded by multiple armies and you don't want your army to get destroyed so you just press surrender and it would surrender that division or regiment and it's province it's in.

The benefit of this is...? All you do is make life easier for your enemy.

Very useful and realistic if you are playing France or Italy.

or Iraq

"Es gibt keine verzweifelten Lagen, es gibt nur verzweifelte Menschen" - There are no desperate situations, there are only desperate people.

Kenny says - You've got to know when to hold 'em, Know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away And know when to run

The limits on trading armies and provinces were put in place because players would cheat. This suggestion would simply enable the same cheating, so is likely not to be changed.

Wouldn't you just fight your way out or die trying. Since there is no supply mechanics having your troops cut off is not too bad of a disaster, especially if they are grouped together and the enemy is spread out.

Taking over the Forum 1 post at a time.

Instead of doing that what if they made something were say you had a massive armored force and were running low on oil so you could simply dissolve the unit

No surrender option, please.

The military statistics are almost the only way to tell which players are performing well and which don't. Hence achieving good military stats is part of the long-term motivation to play for many.

So it must stay as it is: If somebody brought one of his armies into a desperate situation, he must pay for that (with bad military stats).

I would also oppose a dissolve unit option, but that topic's a bit more complex - see for example -->this thread<--.

Look, a surrender button would be kind of useless. To be realistic, a surrender would result in the army being captured and placed as PoWs. So, it would be better to fight, because you'd still lose them. Rather, I would prefer that if an army with 10 or under condition, placed in a province under 20 morale, and surrounded by the enemy, a mechanical coin flip would happen and if it lands on a certain side (this is just a figure of speech, it would all be behind the scenes) a surrender would happen. The army would disappear and the province would be given to the enemy.

That way, it would be more realistic and would add an element of surprise that this game lacks.
