I have many times by accident pressed the big X button next to a research slot and canceled my research which was about to finish. There should be an additional button for confirmation of canceling. Please add this feature. This small mistake can sometimes cost a player the entire game.
Sucks when this happens! Not a major issue, just got to be a little careful - though i'd second a confirmation of cancelling, aswel as one for buying resources for gold, i clicked that by mistake too and lost my recently won stash D:
