I agree to an extent, but intelligence spies already get it from provinces bordering and such. Weβd need another solutionβ¦ maybe it shows the size of the armies and a circle that they are in?

The spy mission to reveal all armies is OP in my opinion and gets rid of the strategy part of the game once used. I suggest that instead of revealing all armies, it would only reveal the provinces bordering your nation and possibly a few more adjacent to them.

Spies are a less suspicious way to scout areas. Of course you can use planes and scout units, but there is a high chance that the enemy will see it. Unless the enemy/rival spends 500k a day to have counter-spies in each bordering provinces it is safe. Perhaps we could extend it to coastal provinces or further inward. The thing I'm trying to do is keep the strategy real, because it just doesn't make sense that a single spy or spy team can singlehandedly reveal the entire army positions, buildings, and their commands at one time.
I meant that intelligence spies already do exactly that.Commander Schleicher wrote:

Right, but I think it should only be that. Since even if ot would be realistic or not to reveal all armies it just ruins the game for me. Evej though it's nice for me to use against my enemies, it's just as easy for them to spy on me. And the Call of War economy system doesn't allow you to have enough money left to fund that many spies to attack and defend.
Sure, but if intel spies already do it whatβs the point of mil sabotage ones? We should still give them something unique that they can do as well, you know?
True, however we must consider the overall pros and cons of having the entire army being displayed. No matter the map, 1 spy can reveal from 1 to an infinite numbers of troops. Doesn't really make sense in any realistic sense or gaming sense.
The reveal all is a must have strategy in your arsenal, but it would be great to know when your armies had been revealed as well because it would add a lot of psych strategy to the game if you know what I mean. Something like an alert in the newspaper about classified military intelligence of so and so had been leaked in a massive breach. At least it would give people a chance go change their strategy...
I pretty much find myself just aiming for reveal all every time. Nothing else compares. Economic sabotage isn't anywhere near impactful enough and intel gathering is a total wash. Oh, I see one out-of-context letter. Oh boy. Most groups bypass in-game communications anyway.
Now, if there was blueprint stealing to cut the time/resources for research, or outright complete a research for you? Then I'd have a reason to try something else other than spamming military sabotage to blow airfields, slow production, and reveal all in a single mission type.
I believe I have also suggested that before...
but it actually does....Commander Schleicher wrote:

It's not as if the spy runs around "scouting."...
He stays at HQ of the enemy, transfers the data from army maps to you.
He just steals stored information of the enemy from its hq.
Even if that's the case, it's still way too OP from a game perspective.
Iβm gonna agree with you here. Changes like these just mess up the gameβ¦ even GOOD big changes need to be gradual for players to adapt.Commander Schleicher wrote:
