Change your flag

i'd rather want to have some better unit skins than to have a custom flag

I like the idea of being able to choose your own flag, however, I can see that it would be abused more often than not. There could be a lot of workload on Moderators when people post inappropriate images as flags.

I think we can allow players to change their flag for 2K Gold. This is maybe a way for Bytro to get some extra Dollars for they Devs

So do you really believe that just because a Person put a swatstika on a small flag in-game. The German goverment will file law suits and shut it down just like that. So the German goverment will stay in front of a computer for 24 hours watching for swatstika's. Very Funny they don't have time to control computer games LOL.

And if people are so concentrated on Nazi's they have forgoten that Communism killed more people well done

And do people already realise that you can change a flag on a coalition. And so with the Bytro's game Supremacy. So at least why not change flags on COW if you can do it in other places

Sure, it is unlikely that the game would be shutdown over a swastika on a player flag. Still Bytro needs to prove that it is actively fighting that kind of thing. If half the players would fly a Swastika, yeah, I guess it would become a possibility. Bytro is a German company, and they need to abide by the law of their home land, simple as that. When the war was over, the (new, democratic) German government wanted to make sure there would never be a Nazi revival, and this law was a part of that.

There's little point in a hitparade of evilness of various regimes.

@K.Rokossovski I agree that Bytro needs to fight that thing and anyone who uses that should be banned. There is already ways that people still put Swatstika's through Coalition's and from Supremacy where there isn't much Moderators there. So to not have a flag change feature because of that reason is ridiculous i have played 30 games and i only 1 see a Swatstika Flag and in a Day he is deleted by the way he should be banned from the game for that. But please have Flag change and Name change

But seriously for some Computer game that is history related if someone put's a Swatstika flag. The German Goverment will put Lawsuits and shut-down of company. And do you know that the Leader's name of Germany in the 25 player map is??, MR Adolf Hitler!!!

hes the leader on the 22 player blitz map too. but i understand the company's position. i dont think they are as worried about the game being shut down as they are about attracting a negative element from the net community. I always thought they were more worried about having a bunch of morons finding the sites a haven for glorifying said political party. And, I agree that I dont want to be associated with all that mess, either.

If that's really true that i find it hard to believe than why Nazi Flag and Nazi Propeganda get's banned from the game.

But there is Communist Flag's even Communist Skins with logos too. I am more offended on Communism as they killed more people and as well being from Finland

I agree, flag changing would be great.

Well, there would have to be a filter when it comes to flags.

But on top of this, what if you could change your countries name too?

Like, lets use turkey as an example.

You could rename it to "Ottoman Empire" or something like that.

I think that it would be a nice feature, but people could get carried away with it.

Also, it would have to not allow 2 people to have the same name because that would lead to confusion.

I do think it could be possible, however.
