CI Spy Mission for Allies

I was playing a game yesterday and noticed something new. I was playing in a game with the team settling. I went to place spies in a team mate’s province because we wanted CI spies to protect the air strip we were parking our planes at for day change because our air was a critical component of our overall strategy. When I went to do this, I was shocked to discover the options for spy missions were the same as an enemy or neutral player of econ sab, mil sab, or intel. CI was not an option. Why not? In team games the sides are fixed, you start with map share as the default setting with your partners but have the option to change it to intel share if you have high command. You should have the CI option, same as your own province. Especially in games with this setting. Although it should be an option for regular games too. You should be able to assign CI spies to assist coalition partners in regular games too.

True. In coalition games you could just have both so if you are a traitor or helper you can use spies. Until that happens though, you can just give your allies the money and let them do it themselves, as a work around.

That’s what we did. But we were lucky that I hadn’t already hired the spies. What if I had and didn’t have any cash left?

Sucks to suck I guess, say goodbye to the moneyyy..
