Cities as forts

Thoughts on cities acting as fortifications for certain units...

I was thinking about this.. thoughts?

just thought it might be interesting worth while idea..

You know you can like, build a fort, right?

Cities essentially act like this anyway with "soft targets" already. You know what the soft targets are, right? Think flesh.

point is..

if I have infantry in a field.. or in a city..

they will be safer in a city...

small increase, less than forts..

Yes, I said this is already present for soft targets, which are infantry.

Your suggestion is the fortification.

yes it should

currently it is fine vs tanks ,but arties and bombers do as much dmg units in the city as on open field :(

But in all seriousness city's already affect some of the units combat ablity since due to terrain modifications (Urban). Also you can build fortifications

A fort only takes 24 hours to build so this is pointless.

just to infantry, they take less damage..

Well, if you're talking about TBs, I feel the opposite thing should be done: infantry AA values are indignantly high

IMHO, all ground units have too good of AA.

But it always seems like the enemy's AA is better than my AA even when we have the same ratings. What's up with that?

I've lost nearly half of all atomic bombers on attack due to small-numbered groups of AA (i.e., 3 AA accompanying 5 other units and they still shoot down my nukes). I'm in the 100+ Nuke Club, so the shoot-downs are quite significant for me.

On the other hand, it seems like tac bombers are way overrated as well. But then again, it's usually the other guy's tac bombers whooping my ground forces while my tac bombers get shot down by his ground forces.

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
The saying, "beating them into submission until payday", is just golden...pun intended.

Yo could have the cities to resullp the troops and increase morle also you could add a supremacy 1914 feeling to the cities?
