This would make it much too complicated and make certain countries up north or in desert areas very unpopular, leaving much of them inactive or populated by extremely good players who had the time and skill to use it to their advantage.
Climate/temperature
Climate/temperature
Should this be considered, i certainly do.
During WW2 era, tanks were not exactly air conditioned, neither were jeeps or armoured cars.
Napoleons imperial march eastwards suffered the Russian winter, as did the German army meet the same fate.
As a suggestion, COW should now introduce rounds that be made optional to create, that geographically OR NOT, implicit temperature conditions be made throughout a series of periodical game-play, by season or by the numbered day. Infantry troops especially should be limited by harsh climates, in their movements or this be more effectual to their morale or hit points condition, whether it be in the African desert, icy cold Siberia, or the exhausting heat of an Indian / Burmese summer. COW does its best to simulate the WW2 era, but in reality, temperature was and will always be a major factor to the health of any troop put to the field.

That just about sums it up.
However I did mention in my thread post that weather selection be made optional.
It could easily be counterbalanced by resource surplus factors, for example, Saudi Arabia & Iraq have more oil than the game has made allowance for, Australia has loads of rare metals, Africa has fuk loads more food and Russia is metal abundant.
