I like this idea i find this an interesting idea and having the coalition color in the map would be helpful for everyone.

there could be like a section of creating a coalition where it's like "choose what color you want your coalition to be" or maybe it could just have the logo of the coalition as the land

I am pretty sure the graphics part of making logoes will be harder and coalitions choosing their own colour would be irrelevant since its purely for showing who people are working with.

Adding selection to colouring or trying to get logoes involved would be making a small but VERY usable function become hard to make.

Imo it should just be kept simple. I would rather have a simple but elegant solution that works than wait for 2 years for some overly complicated design which it wont need at all.
