Wolfpackers and multi accounters would exploit this.
Should someone donate troops to you the same amount of resources for upkeep should be deducted from your pocket.

COALITION MEMBERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO DONATE TROOPS
only those players in coalition should be able to donate troops to each other or any player on the map so people with common enemy can fight together, there should be a option to donate through which troops could be enabled to transfer to different region and upon reaching destination , reassign themselves to be the other person's army.
through this we can use proxy wars to destabilize far regions in maps like 1939 historic war.

There was a time when this was actually possible... alas, it was too powerful to give to the hands of cheaters, trolls, and other internet scum.
