Allow Commandos to use routes that no one else can see. They can only be used by Commandos basically they can be used for infiltration missions yet you don't want to start a war or use spies. What this does is allows for ambushes where the Commandos hold all the cards. Ambushes of this type for the first hour of combat gives Commandos a 50 percent bonus to their attack power against all units save for air which remains the same. It also negates damage to the Commando unit by 50 percent as well. Thus making it easy to do quick strikes against the enemy. After the first hour however it all goes down to normal levels. This represents the surprise part of the ambush and the enemy force panicking. Afterward the enemy recovers from its shock and figures out where the attack is coming from. A thing that could be added for members of HC is they could order quick strikes.

Although there an alternative to high level infantry, also useful to a country facing oil problems if they can't have too many tanks.
Every unit have a purpose and meaning that's why there here, it takes experimentation and testing to find every strengh and weakness of a unit, an example is militia used for desperate defence and anti rebellion.

I'm aiming for the "tactician" achivement by using units from the infantry tech tree. Commandos are infantry but regarded as "secret" given their nature I quite understand, but I will use them for this end because I will use little armor for the achivement.

Play style and limitation are the only reasons why the commandos are under use, their infantry and used like one, we don't need a history lesson or a 2000 word argument, ask the devs about them and look in the game, their infantry.

Commandos need more speed , their speed is pretty much same as normal infantry which is not fair for them

Perhaps one day someone will defeat Bill using commandos in an intuitive way.

I'm planning to use the commando for one of my games just to earn an achivement, I can use that time to observe the commandos ability and in the field, but being train in one city can really slow down their production.

Doubt it, no one is going to be able to defeat me(or a lot of other people) with a unit that can only be built one at a time.

I think what I want for the commandos to happen is that we can train them faster and more numerous like building a special structure to allow commando training on that province other than the capital.
Special forces academy maybe? The commandos are good, but the time to get them is killing them to unusable, we need more commando units in the field fast.

I think we should be able to produce them in capitals, but not the only the capital of your country. Let me explain myself. If you with Egypt invade Libya and take Tripoli, you should be able to produce Commandos in Tripoli and Cairo. See what I mean?

That would be awkward since you can move capitals. You could easily get around that by invading an AI and after you take its capital, give it a few days to build a new one then cap that one too.

lol specialforces builded in occupated provinces? Yeah they are already trained to take down any uprising.
Best change would be lowering humanpower cost to 500 and adding 100$ upkeep a day. And may be auto first aid 5 hp a day. even on low moral provinces. Not overpowered changes.

Just saying, because these guys are much stronger than your normal infantry man. They go through insanely tough training. DEVGRU and Spetnaz which are two of the best Commando units on the planet their training is so tough that sometimes people actually die doing it. Thus Commandos are tough as nails, so they should have a fair amount of speed.
