Comments from a first time player

I'm half way through my first tutorial and there are some items so basically in need of correction I thought to call them out.

  • Toggle for units. In my first game I am now the target of attacks from three separate AI enemies. There are a lot of moving parts and it would IDEAL if there were a toggle for different units. For example, where are my bombers?!
  • Toggle for infrastructure. Like above, I have 100+ Providences and it would be IDEAL if there were a toggle for buildings, especially for Industrial complexes in newly acquired territories
  • Front Reports do not contain useful information. Army BO 93 has been defeated by E5...wait? WHAT? What does that mean? This is especially frustrating when my computer restarts at night for a software update and I wake up to see my captured Providences and destroyed units.
  • Heavy Losses inflicted. In my current three front battle I had an 80 HP stack in a city that was being attacked by a 75 HP stack, I felt comfortable about my units being able to hold their own so I went to check one of the other fronts. When I circled back 15 minutes later the enemy unit is fully intact and my stack was decimated down to 10 HP...rocket attack? IDK. Still have no idea what hit me.
  • Left Click Units/Right click city. Not sure how many times I have to click on a stack of units on a city until I get to information about the city, but a left click/right click set up would be helpful
  • It's frustrating to have the bottom of the screen covered by information about the unit. So many times I have to readjust especially when I need to move unit to a newly developing crisis on a far away front.
  • There were several human players at the start but now we're down to only 2 of us. Not so much fun. The AI seems to like to attack me offline. Not sure if there's a fix for that.
Right now the frustration to enjoy-ability ratio is a little too high.

I might return, I might not.

If you are playing on PC, you can select multiple units by right click (holding) and dragging it around troops to select all within that area. From there you can split units using the split unit button and select which units to go where. The new update is really stubborn but you will get used to it.

There is a province tab in the right in the PC version where you could build buildings through that tab and manage it there.

Yes I agree, I would like more information on the affiliation and what units are destroyed. That means that your army has been destroyed but something more superior. Some issue you will have to take care of. ;)

Yes because if you are attacking somebody else in their core territory which means the territory that they originally own, they have an advantage of 25%. If you click on it, you could see different terrains. Tanks operate horribly in cities and great in plains. Another thing to keep in mind that there are levels of different units as well as whether you attack or defend first. I see that you are not as familiar with this game so I would suggest checking this battle calculator. dxcalc.com/cow. The best way to not loose too many guys is to attack with superior troops. Lastly, I advise that you check the statistics for each type of unit. How much damage they deal with when attacking or defending. That will help your units not get destroyed.

So I see you are PC from the next sentence. I think you might need some help

SpoilerZAOOOOOOMING in

When you zoom in, just click on the empty province spaces and not the army. ;)

When you read the information above, you will know how important it is to read the information in the description.

No there isn't a fix to that because AI does not have online or offline. They attack if they want. you have to go to your in game profile to check your popularity. If it is low, more AI will decide to attack you. When a player goes offline for 2-4 days, AI will take over their country.

Good luck playing!
