Maybe a 50state map, every state, every state dont start with even numbers in troops and res

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Call of War unofficial Comprehensive Suggestion List.
The goal of this thread is to list everything that has been suggested on the forums, and categorize them based on what players want. For now, there will be a simple 3 category system, but in the future I may rank some items depending on how important they are, or the frequency of discussion.
Items in the "Positives" section have a general support from most players, and some are very likely to be added in the future. Items in the "Negatives" section have been discussed and have been found to be a feature that should not be added to Call of War. Items in the "Undecided" category have mixed reviews and probably need more discussion to determine whether the majority of players want them or not. So, without further ado...
List of Suggestions for Call of War:
Positive Reviews:
I'm sure there's plenty of things that I've missed here, so feel free to include any suggestions I may have missed.

new york is the 3rd most powerful state
with the 3rd biggest national guard
with the other big states
california and texas far away, I think New york would do pretty well

The joke was that they would only need NYC to winoceanhawk wrote:

Well New york will still have to beat Ohio, not to mentio california, Texas, Florida

Of course it is a WWII game. But that doesn't mean it can't have modded maps. The Road to War map isn't realistic. The Clash of Nations map is REALLY not realistic. And the new World map is insanely unrealistic.comrade dave wrote:
This is a ww2 + game not a short history of the Human race, adding those maps would be rubbish.
But they are all fun. So why not have modded versions for other eras? When the Civilization series creators opened their front code for modding, it actually made the game much richer. People loved playing Civilzation with it's raw, basic format and/ or with the expansion pack basics. But they also grew to love various other modded versions. They ranged from various and fanciful futuristic versions, to ones that had special rules and only took place over a short segment of a long ago forgotten past. Some mods were fantasy-based and others changed the play rules from civ-building to waypoint reinforcements.
The point of modding is to allow the fan-base the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of what they love. The result of modding is a richer, much-thought-out, and vastly-contributed-for-free set of new units, capabilities, story lines, and even certain rule sets. The mechanics of the game have a general "game engine" that never would change. As a programmer, I already know how easy it would be to adapt the game in such a way as to allow modding. A mod simply has a set of updated files that "modify" the external details without changing the engine.
Though this is a web-based game, the same principle of modded files can easily be downloaded automatically when a match is opened just as the core game components are done so. And if any core game components are stored locally on the HDD, so too can sets of modded files and there is no confusion for the system to be able to accommodate a player playing more than one match and/or more than one mod at a time on their computer.
The point (overall) is that modding needs only a little effort by the developers to get started and then a lot of effort by volunteer contributors such as myself to enrich the game by many orders of magnitude.
Finally, the best part of modding, for people like yourself, is that you don't have to use the modded content. Since it's a web-based game, a game purist such as yourself would be unaffected by the mods since you needn't download what you don't use. The only possibly foreseeable issue that modding could have to affect a purist like yourself is that you might find not as many opponents willing to play unmodded matches with you. But, I can't imagine that really being a problem either because Call of War -- as the WWII game that it is at it's core -- will still be beloved by many of us out there; myself included.
It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.#Rant
This has kinda evolved from a Comprehensive Suggestion List, hasn't it...
Definitely. From actually useful stuff, to god knows what.
And I thought I was being quite calm.comrade dave wrote:

I agree with dave
I rather leave the game devlopement to the game devlopers
I think we can maybe a 60s verson
but it cant get too out of hand
I dont really want a cybertron extra nerdy robot wars pls

OMGosh, I would LOVE a Cybertron version with all Transformers as the units (including the infantry, they can be the smaller ones) and instead of building buildings, we build Metroplex(s) and Fortress Maximus(s) and other giant TF's from the 80's.
In fact, that idea is so great, my brain is literally starting to meltdown at the thought.

Hm...I keep saying how I'd like to BE one of the developers. But, since they aren't hiring, I want to spearhead the modding movement. That's a reasonable demand. Besides, when Civilization was allowed to be modded, tons of wonderful new content was generated by the fan base. How could that be a negative when you don't have to actually use that new content if you don't want or like it?

But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.You can't really mod this game, because all the matches are hosted on Bytro's servers. The best you could do is submit a map idea to Bytro.
They really should allow submitting map ideas though.
How about the world map, but historical (the way the 10 player map is)?
Suggested already by the game developers.dhhgamer wrote:
