What a bad luck man... But I agree that a confirm button is nice before cancel anything.

after just accidentally cancelling a 1 day research that was nearly completed, and having accidentally cancelled unit production before.. i think a confirm cancellation of research/production/building button is needed, dont want this to happen in an important game..

I'd also love that cancel button, but it would have to be available for Gold payments as well. It didn't happen to me here yet, but in Supremacy, multiple times, I accidentally clicked on the accelerate button which costs gold. I especially raged when I finished a balloon that would be finished 10 minutes later anyway
