Confirmation before gold is used

I think there is already a thread on this. I don't remember the link, but it should be there. Check it out to see eveyone's ideas on this.

As far as a confirmation button, I wouldn't expect COW to actually improve the game for players. It's all aboutrevenue isn't it? Has COW recently had a management upheaval? The relationship you have with your customers is deteriorating fast. At least this one.

An easy money maker is a core feature. They won't change this. Seems like they'd rather "renovate" the UI like they did today, with graphic elements which remind me of some games created 2 decades ago, rather than improve and show they care for players. And in this case, players who do pay the company.

Either way, that's a big upvote from me. Today such a misclick happened to me for the second time and I also got charged twice the amount for that field agent. I think third time is going to be the charm that'll make me quit the game (on top of other "improvements" they deliver).

FWIW, here are some other requests for this that have been gracefully ignored:

• A feature that confirms gold purchases on research and production, and such
• Add a confirmation button when you click on a button to spend gold
• CREATE GOLD CONFIRMATION BUTTON NOW!!!
• Gold Spending Confirmation

Tbh why would your finger be anywhere near the buy option or why are you looking at the resource on the market that you don’t need ?

I have come across accidentally pushing the gold button a countless amount of times, whether its a result of my fingers being too fat or my phone too small, I don't see a reason in why a confirmation would harm anyone.

I have had this problem before but today is different solely because the amount of gold I spent on accident was large. The only reason I tapped on the gold was because of the new unit bar display we just got. (Looks great btw) The new unit bar display has the gold option almost right in the exact spot to where the old unit bar display had the information tab for units was. The gold I accidentally used increased the morale and condition of my units.

You may argue that I should’ve been more careful and I agree but that information tab was muscle memory for me, Ive been playing for quite some time now and I feel that a confirmation on spending gold is essential if you want to keep players - especially mobile, happy.
