They are suppose to stay visible. As they do for me in my games. What Browser/OS are you using.

Construction/Production menu
Would be helpful if that when you open the construction or production menu, the bar showing your resource amounts stayed visible. This way you can see how much of each resource you have before making the purchase. The way it is now you have to close the window and jump back and worth to see if you can afford purchasing a unit or building something.
Otherwise love the game so far.

What resolution is that display? Its hard to see cuz its so small.

In my game, the resource bar remains visible when opening the construction menu if I am playing the game full screen (which you get by pressing F11), otherwise the resource bar disappears when the construction menu is opened.
