Recently there was a programming change discovered, where instead of the peace period ending at day change, it now ends (days selected x 24) hours after game was created. IMO I like the change except for one small difficulty. No one knows when the peace period will end until they try to attack another country, at which time a message pops up telling you how long it will be. This is very frustrating for both new and old players.
I would like to see a count down timer in the newspaper or in some other visible/logical location telling you how long until the peace period ends.
I think this is an excellent idea.

So in the game rules section of the paper it could be listed in the same style as the time until day change.
Although perhaps a separate line would be needed for clarity:
Peace period 1 day
Peace time remaining 23 h 45 min
I am optomistic that @freezy can add this to the suggestion list closer to the top of the list than the bottom 
Thanks for the suggestion, a more clear indication when it ends will be added at some point in the future.
I am having this problem now. I am on a 22 player map with 5 days peace and it is now day 6. Still can't attack. A timer would be great.
