Country name changing suggestion

So on a different thread people were discussing a feature that allows changing province names on a different thread (which was disagreed upon). But, after looking at it, it seems people are more open to the idea of allowing nation names to change. So in order to end the argument, I come here with a poll and open ears. I want to hear peoples opinion on if country names should be customizable. If so, how customizable? If not, what reasons why?

For my two cents, I think they should, or at least with limitations (like you can only select from a pre-set of names). It would add a role play aspect to the game and make things more enjoyable. While there is the fear of stupid names, we are able to change leader names and flags, and about 80% of the time that does not go to awfully, right? But thats just my two cents, what do you think?

Bonus: What about country colors? Would it be a good idea to allow change from certain pallet of say fifty colors?

PS: Yes, you’d probably be allowed to change what a person from that country is too. For some examples, if central Russia takes the former USSR, they Rename to Soviet Union, people are Soviet. Ohio takes the US, names itself to space invasion force, “people” are called aliens. Luxembourg takes the Earth, declares the holy order, people are named… well they’d still be Luxembourgers…
