All you need to do is separate the units before they fire that first volley.
cruiser and battleships
when u attack provinces sea units land units with a unit that have battleships and cruiser its automaticly attack from range that only the battle ships can attack. for my opinon it will be great if there will be an option to choose to attack with both or only battle ships. the same for artilery and stuff make option that u can choose the attacking range for all the units.

That's true, or you could just give a move command to put the cruisers in range before they shoot. However, they may be referring to using offensive fire control while afk. In that case, it could be useful to have a range "override" setting, but such a thing is unlikely to ever be implemented. But even with an afk offensive fire control march you could still split the stack and put the subs and destroyers with your cruisers in front.
There is an option you have the option like 6thDragon mentioned, you separate the ships/units,if you bundle all your artillery into stuff then you won't get desired results, place your units how you want them, the game won't play your game for youori_Ts64 wrote:
