Shouldn't cruisers have a much higher AA rating, as they were the AA ships of WWII? Would also give a reason for them to exist instead of being a really weak battleship with mediocre anti-sub abilities.
Came up with the idea when Tafari Wint was complaining there aren't any ships that are useful at all for AA.

I had 2 CA and some far off BB. My BB crippled the enemy BB and then ran before they could be fired on(my BB were faster) and I left the CA to finish off two BB and 2 DD.comrade dave wrote:

Once you start making a move one Western Europe, I recommend a medium fleet since by the time you get there, they probably have one and also a lot of coastal provinces. Especially UK. There navies shouldn't be a problem, you can just wreak havoc on their coastal provinces.salbalkus wrote:

For example, in one match, I had the most dangerous air force, about 20 tac bombers and a load of nukes. Even though I only held Italy and some of North Africa, I still held control of the entire Med thanks to around 10 BB(I think) which couldn't be killed with subs thanks to 20-30 DD. Big fleets are always fun, even if you don't use them that much they are the best way to show power.
I remember on the med map I sent ten maxed out subs to each province with a naval base and industrial province to camp their naval spawns.

Thats just one type of cruiser. There are numerous subtypes, like CL (light cruiser), CLAA (light anti-aircraft cruiser), CG (guided misile cruiser) or CM (minelaying cruiser) to name a few.
For cruisers in general, CC is used. Like BB for battleships, DD for destroyers and SS for submarines.
