Custom Country Names

Well uh, people choosing Germany would probably rename their country the "German Reich", which is against the ToS.

For example, let's say I start playing a world war 1939 historical map, but I don't want to play Germany as the German Empire, I want to play as the Weimar Republic. This would allow you to choose a name at the start of the game for your country that will be shown over your land when you zoom out.

I think it would be a good idea, what do you guys think?

I mean, couldn't Bytro just not allow certain keywords? Such as inappropriate swear words, insults, etc? Kinda like how when you make your username for a new account in certain games they don't just let you call yourself "Ad*lf Hitl*r". Couldn't the same be implemented here?

What?! how do you do it with inspect here? I thought right click does nothing here.

No matter how hard things are censored, people will find a way around the filters.

I think it's a cool idea and would be fun to have some sweet names here especially in role play modes:

Example: Roman Empire/Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, Texas Republic, Zhou Dynastic Empire, and more fun, creative names!

But this would have to be a separate game mode because it would cause confusion and be abused with a bunch of dictatorship names.

Also,

I'm sure this would be a lot of work for little benefit.

The only way I would see is that the name change is only visible to you.

Honestly, I don't want to play let's say France in Call of War and start invading "Candyland" (formerly : UK), "User8171's Empire" (formerly : Sweden), "the Galactic Empire" (formerly : Germany) and a country that was Spain then "Greater Spain" and became "FU Chimere CHEATER" when I took Madrid. because the kind of players who jump in new games, spam the newspaper in the first 2 or 3 days then drop out of the game would do just that.

All right, I think everyone gets the idea. We don't need anymore examples.

ok an example of inspect. But it is a temporary change not permanent, it would be back to normal after you refresh it.
