I think they can add more calculation about daily regain hp
for example you have 10 tactical bombers with half hp
what tactical bombers need , goods , oil , rare , money and manpower
when you hold them add random location is it gives %10 hp to stack ?
If you have a rare producer city with high manpower production and money for example you can get %15 hp
do you have commandos ?
then you can send them to food producer city
where will you have these type of cities , of course core provinces but even at non-core provinces if you hold them at a producer city what they need they should have extra bonus to regain hp

Usually the ingredients for units would require a lot of processing. For example, you can't hold a lump of aluminium (=rare) to a damaged plane and expect it to be fixed somehow; you need it refined, molded into actual spare parts and a lot of other processes before it can be used to repair the plane. Getting res from the ground only represents a very, very small part of all that.
Anyway, this subject is closely related to the "hospitals" discussion which seems to have moved into some sort of almost ready to design stage, so lets see what Bytro comes up with first; they usually don't really listen to the more or less detailed suggestions here and come up with their own implementation.

say what, they are gonna implement hospitals? Now we cannot abuse and punish the reckless anymore if this is the case.

Now that's news...

Heh, I'm only basing that on freezy's comments in the last hospital thread I recall a few months ago, he said they might have a look into that or something along those lines...

Well look at the situation in Ukraine, Russians have hospital, but the only thing they could is dilute out divisions (i.e. less manpower per unit) and eventually merge a few of them to make a new (almost) full one. The latter I could imagine that it may be a valid strategy, that would allow for revitalizing your stack, yet you have to keep training new units.
I think most people want "hospitals" as a cheap repair shop for abused units, I think that should not be the case.

To set things straight, in the last hospital thread I said that we like the idea and it has been in our backlog for a while, but I cannot promise if or when they are going to be implemented. Same with many other ideas. So right now they are a possibility but they are not guaranteed.

Lol hell must be freezing over. I think I need to check on my farmer buddy to see if his pigs have flown away. Maybe the red cross has finally squeezed blood from stone and general electric has captured lightning in a bottle. I'm genuinely dumbfounded that Bytro is actually considering hospitals after all these years. If I had a nickel for every time someone was dogpiled on for suggesting hospitals, I'd make Suleiman the Magnificent look like a peasant

it was not a hospital suggestion I didn't write anything about a building or spend resource to heal

Yes, I know. This is directed towards Freezy saying that hospitals are a known and favored idea. The suggestion is nearly as old as the forum and every time it gets shot down so quickly

I don't dislike the idea of a hospital itself though...
If bytro introduces a hospital or an aid station, it might be good to have a specification that has no merit even if there is a hospital, and that there is a disadvantage without hospital.
