Great, this one is back. You did fight in WW1, and we all know what you did. Technically you did join WW2 as well lol, even if you didn’t fight.Addin Turx wrote:

Why are you revivng this?Scipio Manbini wrote:
What the law says and what you can be persecuted for are entirely different. Rest assured generations of Germans have been well and thoroughly trained in self hatred and know to give lots of extra leeway.Interesting how critical the restriction of casual discussion between the peasantry is to maintain the Free World, almost ubiquitous. Anyways beating up on the fascist NWO that secured total victory in WW2 and has full run of the world with no opposition in the context of a Grand Strategy is a combination of beating a dead horse, a preschooler, and preaching to the choir rolled into one. Theres always the odd Brit, Canadian or Poor showing up to signal that their government brainwashing took a firm hold but those are rarer and rarer as demographics mean theres little time left for milking the Big Lie.

Yeah, Stalin's regime lasted longer and more brutal than Hitler... how is Mao Zedong ok i don't understand. Also pls remind me, what's wrong with Arthur Bomber Harris? Assuming I am not thinking about someone elseK.Rokossovski wrote:
Many games about this period go out of their way to avoid mentioning Hitler or show the Swastika. I even remember playing a game (sorry forgot which one) where the leader for Germany was "Franz von Papen", a mostly obscure politician from the early thirties. Game studio's just don't want to get into any kind of trouble about this.Quite strange that Stalin doesn't fall under these restrictions though; his regime was arguably even more brutal than Hitler's. Apparently Mussolini, Hirohito, Mao, Bomber Harris, and others are OK to use as well.
And lol Franz Von Papen was mostly sidelined by Hitler by the 30s, so he kinda did nothing after Hitler became Chancellor and so on
I’m pretty sure it has to do with Bytro being a German company. In Germany they have strict regulations regarding usage of Nazi symbolry.Nobodyx2 wrote:

I’m going to delete this thread, this topic can be a bit insulting to others, no arguing here.

OMG i play super smash bros
For K.
The reference to Bomber Harris was placing him in the same context as Hitler, Stalin or Tojo.
Sir Arthur Harris took his instructions from Portal and Churchill and was a great, great leader. But he could be obstinate but there again most people who are, are often excellent whatever field they are in.
He unfairly took the wrap for Dresden despite Churchill ordering it along with other east German cities as a means of disrupting German forces retreating east to placate/help Stalin.
Like Hamburg, Dresden was as much a geographical phenomenon aggravated by round the clock bombing by the RAF, then USAAF for two days. Churchill who faced an election later that year tried to wriggle out of any responsibility, though it didnt help him. But Arthur Harris was revered by his crews and it was a disgrace he wasn't honoured and neither were the crews.
Proud to support those in Bomber Command.

There should be no gray area in condemning Nazi atrocities. EVERYONE was responsible. That includes Rommel, Goebbels, Lieb, and anyone else who was just “serving their country”. Sometimes the best way you can serve your country is by opposing it.

Unfortunately, there seems to be multiple people on this forum who believe otherwise.
