Why on earth can't I demolish buildings? I don't even care if I get 0 resources back, I am just tired of having my enemies use my buildings against me. Scortched Earth Policies have been present in nearly all wars, I don't see any reason why this isn't a feature.

I agree, would be nice. However I think the more common use for this new ability would be to send raiders into an opponent’s core taking cities you can’t hold and flatten everything. In the current state, when I take their cities, some buildings get damaged and when they take them back they get damaged a little more, but I’m always frustrated how much they have left. I want there to be nothing left.

What's the problem? If the community likes the post enough, the developers will consider it when they check the suggestions. At least that's how it was on Discord, and I would assume it's almost identical here since it's just a website Discord server.

Cool, I think of "liking" and "upvoting" as interchangeable but I know some people don't think the same way.
