The game is an assault on my eyes when I load a match, looks terrible. Can we have so that you have to turn on "display resources" rather than having to turn it off? That is all, thank you.
EDIT: Thought visuals might help.
For new players it is better to see the resources right away (after all the most important spots on the map) as they probably don't know how to turn them on until much later. I think veteran players can spare the 2 clicks to turn them off 
Also it is that way for a very long time now.
