Being that these weapons were never produced in the war other than being on a few drawings, i don't know, in addition they would be quite expensive to produce and some of they (like the T-42) would be quite ineffective in various circumstances. Anyway is an interesting idea.
Doctrine - Specific Units
Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory. Recently, a new thread was made on the forum. It asked for an aircraft carrier submarine, which was a real thing developed by Japan in the second world war. And from that post, I got a new idea... What if you made each doctrine have some unique unit? You already have an idea for one unit - the carrier sub - and I have a few more. For Comintern, of course, its goanna be the T-42. This massive "super-heavy" tank will be the best tank in the doctrine - but at a pretty high price. It is a late-game vehicle and extremely expensive and time-consuming to produce. Also, due to its immense size, it's a prime target for artillery and attack bombers, among other weaknesses. It is also very slow. It will basically be a tank destroyer and heavy tank combined. For axis - you can't go wrong with the P. 1000 Ratte. Yes, the one with a FREAKING BATTLESHIP CANNON. (how is this not in the game yet). It will basically be a land-battleship. A combination of a railroad gun, heavy tank, and battleship. This unit would be really OP, mad it not had some major flaws. As its Comintern counterpart, it severely lacks air defenses, even worse than the T-42. It is even slower than the T-42 as well. It is a very expensive and time-consuming very late-game unit. It is only good for very specific targets. Now for allies... I don't have anything in mind for this doctrine but I think that something like paratroopers but instead of trooper, light tank. Basically a paralighttank. (what?) Either way. I think that doctrine-specific units could really spice up the game a bit. The potential units mentioned here are just an idea. I would like to see doctrine-specific units no matter what they are, whether they were mentioned here or not. All of the units would have to be balanced out ofc. Anyway, thank you for your attention, and as always, I hope you have a great day.

That's kinda the point. All of these units would be in the secret tech tree.Dimitri Yazov. wrote:
