Nope itβs been like this for years and I am resistant to change and donβt want it even though I donβt play Antarctica maps too often.

Here is my latest suggestion for the Dominion Antarctica map: Allow players' core provinces to be vulnerable after 5 days.
Why? The reason is so that players who get "defeated" in the mid to late game cant keep throwing single units at the enemy the rest of the way (that happened to me multiple times) or assemble a god stack with dozens of units to ravage through the enemy's land. Also, it would help to clear the 25-ish inactive players from the map, so players don't receive 5 war decs from inactives per day in the late game.
IMO, 5 days is plenty of time to solidify your defense, expand your territory and even take a city or two if you're lucky. But after that then it just becomes a nag for the active players that actually want to win the round.

I have a suggestion, how about I can play as the Nazi colonies?
No, murdering Nazi scum is the only option. If you want to be German, get west or east Germany and slaughter the worshipers of the one balled Austrian painter.Commander Schleicher wrote:

That sounds like a cool map idea, taking place right after the partition of Germany.
Elaborate?
How doesn't that make sense? Once the war in Europe was over, all the victorious powers were stronger than ever. The map would be just like Europe - Clash of Nations except it would not have Africa or most of the Middle East. The main countries would be the United States, the Soviet Union (and Warsaw Pact nations), Yugoslavia, Great Britain, France, Italy, and Canada which would also include their occupation zones of Germany. It wouldn't necessarily be a Cold War map, it would be more like a continuation of WWII between the west and the east unless you want to ally with other nations.
No, that destroys the whole point
The whole point? You do realize that this game isn't historically accurate right? I've seen Libya take over Europe, that was super realistic...
I think he means that no third world and no real non-alligned movement messes up the Cold War. There are no people to complete with for influence, wild cards to try to bring to your side. Thatβs the whole essence of the Cold War, and leaving only the core nations breaks that.
That's a valid point, I didn't include the third world countries because they wouldn't have much influence in the first place like you said. The main fighting would be between the east and the west and possibly within those groups. It wouldn't be a realistic cold war, if the guy even read the post he would know.
Thatβs the thing- they did. The Suez crisis changed everything for Britain and France, showing they were no longer the world powers they once were. China completed shifted the balance of power, Cuba and Latin America caused many crises and were a huge battle ground, same to a lesser extent with Africa. The fight over Middle Eastern oil was extremely important, especially shown by the OPEC embargo.
