Dont remove 1.0

Dont remove 1.0.I have found a solution. Keep the 1.0 call of war and update 1.5 and 1.0 This way 1.0 will be updated and players who like it will still be playing it. And 1.5 will be updated and improved also. Have 2 dev groups for 2 versions. This is best solution.

There is no decision yet on whether 1.0 will disappear completely.

Dont want to be rude but. This is a lie you are obviously planning to remove 1.0 soon its getting really obvious now. No events for 1.0 and new players now cant acces 1.0 maps only 1.5 maps .Yes you have a plan to remove 1.0 probbably not now but very soon it seems to me.

As there is still widespread support for 1.0, it is still under discussion whether 1.0 will be removed completely, or whether it will be kept. You are correct in saying that new players cannot access 1.0, and events are in 1.5, but general 1.0 maps may still be kept for old players. Like I said, no decision has been made, as this is a decision with many factors to consider, such as the fact that 1.5 isn't complete yet.

Man I really hope they keep 1.0, cuz it would be like removing a part of Call of War itself if you understand what I mean.

I know the team will keep tweaking the game. That's not the issue. The issue is that some key features of 1.5 are just bad game design, and the team is not budging on those decisions. It's sad, but you're going to lose a lot of players, and

for no good reason.

In the meantime, do you know what is the biggest problem with Call of War? Across every version?

The problem is that most maps end in boredom and frustration. Very few people finish a map. We have out of control rebellions that add days/weeks of senseless running around the map taking and retaking provinces. We have more and more players going AI, and those AI declaring war on remaining players, resulting in more drudgery. A good 1/3 of a world map is spent on this boring mop-up duty that's no fun for anyone.

Why don't you fix THAT.

All of the things that you mentioned are not specific to 1.5. If you have any suggestions on how to fix them, please post here. It provides more feedback than "I don't like it" or "It's bad."

The end game is not easy to fix, but there are things you can do.

1. Stop rebellions. Not a complete fix, but it would make the end game much faster and less frustrating.

2. Stop the AI's suicidal tendencies. When a country is getting close to winning the map, there is no reason for AI to declare war. It just gets more AI countries killed.

These things are obvious. Removing pointless frustrations in the late game will result in faster finishes and fewer people giving up on maps that are taking too long. Probably saves some server capacity, too.

For a more long-term fix, we probably need a more imaginative way to simulate uprising/resistance/guerrilla tactics. The current rebellions system is not fixable. It's the *one* thing in 1.0 that needed to be re-imagined, and it was the *one* thing that 1.5 did not mess with. It's uncanny, actually. The game really had one glaring problem, and it's the one thing that remains :)

I dissagre Rebellions and AI declaring war give more strategy and keep the game fresh in inactive matches.

If everyone quits, I just want the game to end, not draw it out forever, fighting waves of AI units!

Maybe some new AI in Historical World War. My point is that, for example, the colonies should not be an additional province, but that such Algeria revolts from time to time. I think this is better than the revolts of the country we are fighting.
