Easy Suggestion for War Bonds

Notice: This is not a thread about the introduction of war bonds, or how much you like/dislike them. Take those comments elsewhere.

There's a noticeable gap in war bond utility when it comes to unit upgrades. The suggestion is simple: allow war bonds to accelerate an upgrade, same as unit building or research.

Does this make upgrades more powerful? Slightly, but not as much as instantly building a new unit, or getting advanced research the day it opens.

Mostly, the effect will be to speed up game play, removing an annoying delay (at some cost). The rest of the game has sped up, so why not adjust this element to keep pace with the rest of the game.

Save up war bonds, spam lvl 1 units like your life depends on it, war bond lvl 2, then war bond to max level with a glitch that allows you to upgrade max lvl with the price of only lvl 2, and then war bond the upgrade to max lvl for the cheapest price seen in the History of Call of War.

Except for WB but yeah, this is valid. This sort of glitch has a bug before but I think it was fixed. Very clever indeed. If I have enough war bonds to do so though. The speed might be the same as research speed up, as I think the mechanism of promotion is like this. Of course it might not be.

Playthroughs might be coming. I will try my best to not get killed :) but if I do, pls forgive me :S .
Playthroughs have to wait, could be making one soon, or not. If not wait till next year.
Have a good game :)

It might not be used bcs previously gold can’t speed an upgrade, so Bytro simply forgot about it. Have no idea why.

It could skip 1 level if you do it as such, of course it could skip more if you have enough to spend.

it's still something that will be exploited like hell

Of course to pull this off from lvl 1 to max you will have to use gold to buy warbonds thanks to the developers imposing a max on the the amount you can have, before they did that you could save up several days of bonds and build up enough resources to do the research upgrade and have a very powerful army in 2 hours, it will cost you a lot more now.

Still exploitable

Yeah this is getting unbalanced. Hope Bytro can find better solutions than what I could find, and improve the game for us all.
